Schools of Hope is a unique collaboration that connects volunteer tutors with children during the school day to increase academic performance. Two pilot classrooms were launched in the Fall of 2011 at Frank V. Bergman Elementary School. We plan to expand into all K-3 classrooms over the next several years. Area partners include United Way, R.S.V.P. of the Flint Hills, USD 383, Capitol Federal Foundation and the Verizon Foundation .
