United Way of Riley County 2011 Funding Cycle
|
Several years ago United Way of America began a system-wide transformation to a new operational model called "Community Impact." This new model focuses resources on creating long-lasting change by addressing the underlying causes of community problems.
United Way has chosen to address the building blocks of a good life, and in 2007 announced ambitious 10-year national goals in the areas of: Education – Helping Children and Youth Achieve Their Potential Income – Promoting Financial Stability and Independence Health – Improving People’s Health
The 2011 United Way of Riley County funding cycle addresses some of the changes taking place at the national level, while still focused on local issues. |
