United Way of Riley County 2011 Funding Cycle

Several years ago United Way of America began a system-wide transformation to a new operational model called "Community Impact." This new model focuses resources on creating long-lasting change by addressing the underlying causes of community problems.

United Way has chosen to address the building blocks of a good life, and in 2007 announced ambitious 10-year national goals in the areas of:
Education – Helping Children and Youth Achieve Their Potential
Income – Promoting Financial Stability and Independence
Health – Improving People’s Health

The 2011 United Way of Riley County funding cycle addresses some of the changes taking place at the national level, while still focused on local issues.

The 2011 Applications and the 2010 UWRC/Peine applications are due in the United Way of Riley County office on March 24, 2010 by 5:00pm. UWRC staff will contact you the week of March 29 to schedule a site visit during the month of April, and funding decisions will be announced June 1.

2011 United Way Application (word)	The 2011 application is split into 3 sections. Section I - General Information Section II - General Funding available only to a limited number of agencies (listed on the application) Section III - Program Funding. There is no limit on the number of programs for which you submit an application. Copy this section as many times as needed.
2011 United Way Program Budget Worksheet (excel)	The Program Budget Worksheet is only required for Section III applications. A separate budget sheet must be completed for each program.
2011 United Way 2-1-1 info sheet (pdf)	All applicants must be listed with United Way 2-1-1.
Self Support Policy	All applicants must submit a signed self-support policy with the application.
UWRC/Peine Foundation 2010 Grant	Funding for basic needs: food, shelter, clothing. Funding will be dispersed in 2010.
